Our SKE programmes are flexible, FREE, designed to meet the needs of all applicants accepted onto a teacher training course, and are delivered by real teaching professionals, who “do the job” on a daily basis, in a real school environment.  As a minimum, our SKE programmes are the equivalent of eight weeks full time study. Available either face to face or distance learning, the length of your course will depend on whether you need to top up your subject knowledge or need something more in-depth. Eligible trainees may also receive a generous Bursary whilst they train.  SKE courses can be undertaken either in advance of your teacher training course or in parallel.  The only condition is that you complete your SKE before you are awarded Qualified Teacher Status.
