We are a diverse and creative department who pride ourselves on providing a stimulating and varied curriculum for all students from years 7 to 13. English is a very popular subject at The Polesworth School. All students study for GCSE English and GCSE English Literature and many continue to study English literature at AS and A level. Our students achieve high levels of success in all external examinations.

    Our curriculum is supported by a wide range of activities organised by us, which include visiting poets and drama groups, theatre visits, university study days and annual visits to the battlefields of France and Belgium.
